The Marketing team drives growth by understanding, reaching and inspiring organizations to launch banking products with BrightFi. We are seeking a Content Marketing Strategist to join our growth marketing team in driving adoption of our platform for banks and non-banks. In this role you will act as editor and project manager, owning the production of all marketing content for BrightFi. You will work with internal and external teams to create content that helps us exceed our goals. This role requires someone who obsesses about engaging with their target audience, understands financial services, is passionate about reaching underserved communities, and is capable of strategic and intellectual flexibility.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the team and partner cross-functionally to inform and execute BrightFi’s content strategy as well as ensure alignment with our ICP buyer’s journey from prospect to customer.
  • Manage vendor, agency, and freelancer relationships to help produce and promote high-quality content for website, blogs, videos, podcast, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns, e-books, whitepapers, industry reports, sales collateral, webinars and more.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar with content contributions across a variety of channels.
  • Determine targets and timelines, prioritize and allocate resources, leverage data to set goals, test, measure success, and continually optimize our content mix and strategy toward better outcomes.


  • 5+ years of content marketing experience at a B2B SaaS tech company (Fintech experience a plus). Similar experience in journalism will be considered.
  • Strong storyteller who can deliver clear, concise, and persuasive messaging across a variety of content and channels within the established brand voice.
  • Stellar portfolio of content that demonstrates mastery across diverse mediums (articles, white papers, case studies, videos, and social media assets).
  • Deep customer empathy – you are passionate about the challenges of digital transformation for financial services and community organizations and can turn that empathy into captivating experiences during the customer journey.
  • Ability to execute quickly on cross-functional projects with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organization and ability to manage dozens of contributors effectively - be structured about how to prioritize your work and time.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SEO: you understand what your audience searches for and can adapt a content strategy to optimize for that.
  • Experience publishing content via Webflow, Wordpress or similar CMS.
  • A strong bias for action. You thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
